What’s the Mercedes-Benz Service A Checklist?

Mercedes-Benz Service A* is performed after one year or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. The services you get vary depending on the model year. But in general, see our Mercedes-Benz Service A checklist that could include these items:

  • Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement**
  • Oil Filter Replacement**
  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model
  • Tire inflation check and correction

  • Adhere to all required elements listed by model year and specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.

What’s The Mercedes-Benz Service B Checklist?

Mercedes-Benz Service B* is performed at 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. Again, your exact services may change based on the model and year you have. But here is the Mercedes-Benz Service B checklist:

  • Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement**
  • Oil Filter Replacement**
  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model
  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter
  • Cabin dust/combination filter replacement
  • Brake fluid exchange
  • Adhere to all required elements listed by model year and specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.

Differences Between Service A vs. Service B Intervals

The main difference between Mercedes-Benz Service A and Mercedes-Benz Service B is time intervals. Again, Service is suggested after 1 year or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first with your Brooklyn journeys. Service B is recommended after 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first for your Queens drives.

The services performed are mostly the same. However, during Service B, we will replace the brake fluid and cabin air filter to keep these systems working properly. Certain CLA and GLA AMG® models also receive an engine air filter replacement during Service B because these high-performance engines need clean air to work properly.
